Job Overview

We are seeking a New Business Account Handler to join our Corporate & Commercial division at Howden. This full-time, permanent role offers the flexibility to work 2 days per week in our Colchester or Burnham-on-Crouch offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage new business opportunities in the residential and commercial property renovation sector.
• Provide bespoke insurance solutions to clients undertaking renovation or self-build projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers.
• Contribute to team targets and participate in team meetings.
• Review client documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure optimal insurance placement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for clients.
• Support client queries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
