Barchester Healthcare seeks a Commissioning Home Manager to lead a brand-new care home opening within a multi-million pound project. You will recruit, build a high-performing team and drive occupancy while delivering exceptional person-centred care.

Candidate should have a proven track record of opening new builds, strong community engagement, and a deep understanding of safeguarding and regulatory standards. Excellent leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing/opening a new build project.
• Ability to market a home and drive occupancy.
• Proven track record in luxury care with privately funded residents.
• Inspirational leadership and staff development.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment for a new home and build a capable team.
• Collaborate with projects team to integrate the home into the community.
• Ensure delivery of person-centred care and continuous improvement.
• Prepare the home for its first inspection and ongoing quality delivery.
