NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking Registered Nurses to join the Neurosurgery team on Ward 65 at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The role involves caring for neurosurgical patients across three 22-bed wards with day and night shifts.

Formación

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (RN1/RNA).
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of neurosurgical patient needs or willingness to develop specialist knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients' care needs and develop, implement and evaluate individual programmes of care to ensure high-quality patient-centred care.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to the safe operation of the ward and provide support to staff and students.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage ward resources efficiently.
• Support the Ward Manager or Deputy in their absence to ensure smooth ward running.
