Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neurosurgery team in Ward 65 at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. You will provide high-quality patient-centred care across emergency and elective neurosurgical/spinal wards.

Join a multidisciplinary team with dedicated educator support and opportunities for in-house training and professional development; visa sponsorship may be available for eligible roles.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (RN1/RNA).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Ability to understand neurosurgical patient needs or willingness to develop specialist knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' care needs and develop, implement and evaluate care plans.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to safe and effective ward operation and mentor junior staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage resources in line with policies.
