Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a First Level Registered Nurse for a permanent, full-time role at New Victoria Hospital. You will join a nursing and multi-professional team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a 12-hour shift pattern within a 24-hour service.

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, documentation, professional practice within NMC guidelines, and active involvement in staff development and PDP processes. Flexible working and pension benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• First Level Registered Nurse.
• Educated to degree level is desirable.
• Evidence of continuing professional development is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical input for assessment and deliver person-centred care using evidence-based programmes.
• Maintain patient records in line with guidelines and ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Work within NMC and health and safety legislation to promote patient wellbeing and staff safety.
• Support learning and development, participate in PDP and performance appraisals.
