Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Patient Pathway Coordinator to coordinate patient pathways in the Neurosurgery service, from referral through to treatment and follow‑up care. The post holder will manage outpatient and inpatient waiting lists in line with RTT targets and the Trust’s Patient Access Policy.

You will schedule appointments, arrange admissions, input data onto Careflow PAS, and liaise with clinicians, administrative teams, GPs, patients and relatives.

Qualifications

• Excellent keyboard and computer skills.
• Training will be provided for BNSSG Patient Access Policy and computerised patient administration system.
• Education to GCSE English Standard or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient pathways and manage waiting lists to RTT targets.
• Book outpatient appointments and arrange admissions.
• Maintain RTT pathways and accurate patient data in PAS.
• Liaise with clinicians, admin teams, GPs, patients and relatives.
• Identify capacity pressures and escalate risks to targets.
