Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice
• MBBS or equivalent
• FRCA or equivalent
• CCT or equivalent (or within six months)
• Meets requirements of a Clinical Supervisor as defined by the GMC
• Advanced Neuroanaesthesia as Specialist Interest Area

Responsibilities

• Provide an anaesthetic service as a member of the Department of Anaesthesia across Preston and Chorley sites.
• Undertake pre-operative assessment and post-operative management.
• Undertake weekly theatre sessions with flexible delivery including evenings/weekends by mutual agreement.
• Participate in an on-call rota providing consultant cover for out-of-hours emergencies.
• Administrative duties involved with patient care and maintain high professional standards.
