Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust in Leicester is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with subspecialty training in Head and Neck radiology, and interest in Neuroradiology. The post joins a team of neuro- and head and neck radiologists and participates in emergency neuroradiology imaging and MDTs.

The role includes on-call duties, teaching and training, audit and CPD, and involvement in neuro-oncology imaging and stroke services.

Qualifications

• MB BS or equivalent and GMC registration are essential.
• Fully accredited for Higher Specialist Training or eligible for Specialist Register within 6 months.
• FRCR or equivalent with subspecialty in Head and Neck radiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide neuroradiology and emergency neuroradiology imaging.
• Participate in neuro-oncology MDTs and clinical meetings.
• Join on-call neuroradiology rota and support weekend neuro-imaging.
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to teaching.
• Engage in audit, CPD and departmental governance.
