Job summary

BHR Hospitals is seeking a substantive Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Neuro, Head and Neck imaging to join our Radiology team serving a population of around 750,000. The post will share diagnostic neuroradiology and head and neck services across trust sites, with the primary location at Queen’s/King George Hospitals in Romford and some duties at CDC centres.

You will report cross-sectional images on MRI and CT, support FNA and biopsies, contribute to MDTs and on-call sessions, and

Qualifications

• Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) or equivalent.
• CCT completion date within six months of interview.
• Fellowship in neuroradiology, head and neck imaging or equivalent.
• MRCP or MRCS qualification accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic neuroradiology and head and neck imaging across trust sites.
• Report cross-sectional images on MRI and CT at CDC centres, King George’s and Queen’s Hospital.
• Support head and neck FNA and biopsies.
• Contribute to MDTs and on-call rosters; participate in departmental governance meetings.
• Share an office and secretarial support, and maintain professional development and training requirements.

Education

Fellowship Royal College of Radiologists

Completion of Training (CCT) / CCT date within six months of interview

Fellowship in neuroradiology, head and neck imaging or equivalent
