Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated registered nurse to join the Acute Neurology Unit (ANU), a 30-bedded ward delivering care to patients with neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease and epilepsy.

You will join a multidisciplinary team with a dedicated preceptorship program, focusing on exceptional communication, excellence in care, teamwork and empathetic support for patients and their families throughout their inpatient stay.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Adult General).
• Degree in nursing studies or equivalent.
• Evidence of involvement in teaching and mentoring learners.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.
• Demonstrates evidence-based clinical knowledge.
• Evidence of supervision and mentorship responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional communication with patients, families and the MDT.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding standards of care.
• Collaborate closely with MDT to support patient well-being.
• Provide empathetic care during times of patient and family need.
