Job summary

Qualifications

• Evidence of clinical experience gained post NMC registration / Completion of Preceptorship.
• Evidence of working within Respiratory.
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
• Able to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and independently.
• Ability to lead a team of patients independently.
• Experience with Non Invasive Ventilation.
• Competent with Tracheostomy management.
• Demonstrate initiative to proactively problem solve with a solution focus.
• Able to use reflective practice to improve patient care.
• IT skills demonstrating clear, accurate documentation.
• Evidence of teaching and mentoring learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate care to a group of patients.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues and service users.
• Administration of medications in line with NMC guidance.
• Undertaken clinical skills such as physiological observations, ECG, Venepuncture, Cannulation, urinary catheterisation, capillary blood gas monitoring.
