Job summary

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a Band 3 Technical Instructor to join the Neurology Inpatient Therapy Team. Based at Pinderfields Hospital with flexibility to cover neurology areas across both Pinderfields and Dewsbury, the post supports a 7-day service for rehabilitation and timely discharges.

The role requires proactive, compassionate handling of stroke patients, with opportunities for training, development and multi-disciplinary teamwork in a dynamic ward setting.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade A-C or 4+ are required.
• NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment/assessment plans as delegated by a physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, personal care, and washing/grooming.
• Support with drinks and meals and refer to community services on discharge.
