Job summary

Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a part-time role based at Gate A2, Pinderfields Hospital, with a flexible approach to support neurology areas across Pinderfields and Dewsbury Hospital. The post is for 30 hours per week, with a non-working day on Thursday; shorter hours across 5 days could be discussed post-interview to ensure service coverage.

The role supports with treatment/assessment plans delegated by therapists, working within a large MDT, and using SystmOne, PPM+, and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out treatment/assessment plans as delegated by a physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
• Ability to relate to people effectively in group and individual settings.
• Ability to work as part of a large multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to use SystmOne, PPM+, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment/assessment plans as delegated by a physiotherapist or occupational therapist.
• Support mobility, transfers, personal care and toileting; assist with washing and grooming as needed.
• Support with drink and meal practices; complete referrals into community after discharge.
• Collaborate with a large multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent patient care.
• Flexibly manage own time to cover peak assessment and treatment times.
