The Dean Neurological Centre in Gloucester is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support planned therapy programmes for residents with neurological or mental health needs. You will work with therapists to deliver one-to-one and group activities, report outcomes, and help maintain records and safety.

You will participate in in-service training and clinical governance activities while promoting recovery, independence and high-quality resident care within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or therapy environment is required.
• Ability to complete in-service training and development programmes.
• Able to understand and follow instructions accurately and to learn new skills quickly.
• Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Support service users in one-to-one and group therapeutic activities.
• Prepare and assist with individual and group therapy sessions.
• Record and report observations and outcomes accurately.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment and ensure documentation is complete.
