The Dean Neurological Centre in Gloucester is seeking a dedicated Therapy Assistant to support rehabilitation alongside qualified Therapists, helping residents regain independence through one-to-one and group sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a care and/or therapy environment.
• Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and implications of non-compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out therapeutic interventions within one-to-one and group settings.
• Prepare and assist individual and group therapeutic activities.
• Participate in evaluation of service provisions and activities; ensure sessions are observed, reported and recorded.
• Under supervision, adjust service users plans according to changing needs and abilities.
• Maintain accurate written/computerised documentation and support safe environments.
