Job summary

The Dean Neurological Centre in Gloucester is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to deliver and develop individualized rehabilitation plans. This fixed-term maternity cover role is 28 hours per week, with support from a regional network of healthcare professionals, and opportunities for ongoing training.

You will assess and treat residents with complex neurological conditions, provide guidance to therapy assistants, and participate in clinical governance and audit activities.

Qualifications

• Registered Physiotherapist (HCPC) with up-to-date practice knowledge.
• Demonstrated CPD and continuing professional development.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist assessment, planning and implementation of patient rehabilitation care.
• Deliver Physiotherapy services in liaison with Head of Therapies and Neuro care team.
• Provide leadership in Physiotherapy following clinical governance and professional codes.
• Identify and source equipment for complex physical needs and advise on mobility aids.
• Contribute to audit data collection and use outcome measures.
