Job summary

NCIC is recruiting a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join the Cumberland Infirmary team in Carlisle for a 12-month fixed term, 30 hours per week on a neurological rehabilitation ward. The role supports stroke and acquired brain injury rehabilitation within a dynamic MDT and offers strong supervision and ongoing professional development.

You will contribute to a weekend rota and have access to ample professional network support, supervision, and preceptorship opportunities while delivering

Qualifications

• Must be able to participate in weekend working rota.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is essential.
• Strong written communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Work within the neurological rehabilitation MDT to develop stroke/brain injury rehab skills.
• Contribute to independent practice while guiding support staff.
• Provide supervision and professional development support as part of the team.
