Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist on a permanent basis. The role is 37.5 hours per week in a neurosciences rotation across Leeds General Infirmary, St James Hospital and Chapel Allerton Hospital, with weekend work possible depending on rotation.

You will support the Band 7 Therapist, contribute to service development, and provide training to junior staff and students within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate neuro clinical knowledge.
• Be skilled in complex caseload management.
• Experience in hospital discharge planning.
• Able to supervise others.

Responsibilities

• Work across neurosciences rotation including stroke rehab, critical care, neuro-oncology, rehabilitation.
• Support Band 7 in leading and developing the service.
• Provide training and supervision to junior staff and students.
• Contribute to service development across the neurosciences pathway.
