The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, a major neuroscience centre in Liverpool, is recruiting an Occupational Therapist (Band 6, fixed term) to join a highly specialist complex rehabilitation team. You will work in an inpatient unit with a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist assessment and rehabilitation to patients with complex neurological conditions and traumatic injuries.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with HCPC and RCOT.
• MSc or equivalent in relevant specialty.
• Completion of Professional Practice Educator’s qualification.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist assessment and rehabilitation for patients with complex presentation.
• Carry a complex caseload.
• Support Rehabilitation pathway and liaise with Hub/Spokes/Extended Rehabilitation for seamless discharge.
• Supervise junior staff and students; participate in training and CPD.
