Job summary

NCIC is seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist to join the Children's Community Occupational Therapy Team in Carlisle. The post involves managing a clinical caseload of children and young people with disabilities, delivering specialist advice, and supporting families and schools within a patient-centred framework.

The role offers a permanent full-time contract (37.5 hours per week) with supervision and opportunities for CPD within North Cumbria’s NHS services.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
• Evidence of CPD is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload involving assessment, planning, delivering and evaluating treatment for children and young people in various settings.
• Provide specialist occupational therapy advice to clients, carers, education settings and housing departments, using MOHO framework.
