Job summary

NCIC in Carlisle is recruiting a Rotational Occupational Therapist (Band 5) to join the Cumberland Infirmary and Carlisle Integrated Care Community rotation. The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a 7-day rota and weekend work requirements.

Successful applicants will rotate across Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics and other services, developing independence under supervision. Applicants may be returning to practice or recently qualified, with a supportive network and preceptorship.

Qualifications

• Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent.
• Current registration with HCPC.

Responsibilities

• Rotational role across Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, Elderly Care, Acute Medical Unit and ED.
• Neighbouring rotations include Neuro Rehabilitation and Community Services.
• Consolidate skills as an independent practitioner while delegating to support staff.
• Access to regular supervision and opportunities for professional development.
