Job summary

Oakdale Group is seeking a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner for the Early Years Assessment Pathway in Harrogate/Horsforth with hybrid working options. The role involves high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments across age groups, with supervise-to-independent progression under Oakdale's Clinical Development Framework.

Essential qualifications include direct competency in neurodevelopmental tools and active professional registration.

Qualifications

• Direct competency or certification in neurodevelopmental assessment tools and measures (e.g, ADOS-2, SCQ, ADI-R, DIVA, or Young DIVA)
• Core professional qualification and current, active registration with one of the following regulatory bodies: NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England

Responsibilities

• Undertake high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and/or adults.
• Formulate diagnostic outcomes independently on single-clinician pathways or with MDT input.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and complete reports within agreed timescales.
• Engage in MDT discussions and contribute to shared decision‑making.
• Progress clinical governance, QA processes, and safeguarding practices.
