Job summary

Oakdale Centre CIC in Horsforth seeks an ND Practitioner (Adult Pathway) to deliver high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and adults as needed. You will work within a MDT, form clinical conclusions, and ensure evidence-based practice across pathways.

The role requires strong communication, documentation, and ongoing professional development under Oakdale supervision, with flexible locations and duties as service needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., Autism, ADHD) and assessment process.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with electronic patient records and digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments in line with Oakdale pathways and guidelines.
• Conduct developmental histories, observations and assessments per competency level.
• Gather, analyse and integrate information to support diagnostic decision-making.
• Formulate diagnostic outcomes independently when appropriate and participate in MDT discussions.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and complete documentation within timescales.
