Job summary

Oakdale invites applications for a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to deliver high-quality assessments for children, young people and adults on the CYP pathway in Harrogate. You will work autonomously on some pathways and within MDTs on others, following Oakdale standards and NICE guidelines.

The role offers hybrid working, 37.5 hours (full-time) with potential to consider a minimum across three days, and a focus on clinical governance, accurate documentation, and compassionate, person-centred

Qualifications

• Direct competency in neurodevelopmental assessment tools (e.g., ADOS-2, SCQ, ADI-R, DIVA) as required by role.
• Active registration with regulatory bodies (NMC/HCPC or Social Work England).
• Experience delivering neurodevelopmental assessments with children, young people or adults.

Responsibilities

• Undertake high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments across pathways (e.g., ADHD, Autism).
• Participate in MDT discussions and co-produce diagnostic conclusions.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation within set timescales.
• Contribute to clinical audits and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure safeguarding and risk management frameworks are followed.
