Job summary

NHS Greater Manchester is seeking a CAMHS post holder to provide mental health assessments and interventions for children, adolescents and families, including neurodevelopmental contexts. The role encourages developing a specialty therapy within the service.

Key duties include high-quality CAMHS assessments, ADHD clinic observations, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic approaches, including medication reviews as needed.

Qualifications

• NMC mental health nursing qualification and registration.
• Significant post-qualification experience in mental health services up to diploma level.
• Experience of delivering parent training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality CAMHS assessments of children and families referred to the service.
• Monitor and review young people including ADHD Clinic observations and medication reviews.
• Plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic approaches within MDT settings.
