South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is recruiting a CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Specialist Practitioner to join the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service (NDT) at Springfield Hospital. The post welcomes registered professionals from Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy and other relevant backgrounds with experience of working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs.

Qualifications

• Registered professional from Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy or related field.
• Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs.

Responsabilités

• Support senior clinicians with ADHD and ASD assessments.
• Screen referrals against neurodevelopmental criteria and contribute to clinical decision-making.
• Participate in the CAMHS Single Point of Access duty and provide Waiting Well contacts.
• Undertake clinical and school observations and document relevant findings.
• Disseminate research and service evaluation findings; assist in audits and resources development.
