Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a 12-month neurodevelopmental nurse post within the CAMHS team. The post holder will carry out mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions for children, young people and families, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Work includes ADHD clinic reviews and medication reviews, with an opportunity to develop a specialist therapeutic approach for the service.

Competenze

• NMC mental health nursing qualification is required.
• Significant post-qualification experience leading to a post-graduate diploma level is expected.

Mansioni

• Carry out mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions for children, young people and families.
• Assess referred children and families to CAMHS to a high standard.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate a range of therapeutic approaches, alone or with the MDT.
• Monitor and review young people, including ADHD clinic observations.
• Carry out medication and physical reviews for young people on medication.
• Develop a specific therapeutic modality as a specialty for the service.
