Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Neuro Rehab Team in Lancashire. The role is full time, 9am–5pm, based at Ribbleton Clinic in Preston, supporting patient recovery after stroke and complex neurological conditions.

You will conduct assessments, develop and deliver evidence‑based care plans, work with a multidisciplinary team, and provide guidance to patients and families while maintaining clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Speech and Language Therapist within neuro rehabilitation or equivalent.
• Experience delivering assessment and management for stroke and neurological conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: conduct comprehensive assessments for stroke and neuro rehab patients.
• Care planning: develop, deliver and evaluate personalised treatment plans.
• Multidisciplinary working: collaborate with other clinicians to optimise outcomes.
• Patient & family support: provide guidance and education to patients and carers.
• Clinical documentation: maintain accurate records of assessments and interventions.
