Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist to join the Head & Neck Team in Blackpool. The role is full-time with an hourly rate of £26–£30. You will work in an NHS setting, delivering specialist SLT interventions and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will have a degree/diploma in SLT, HCPC registration, and experience in dysphagia for Head and Neck patients. This is a dynamic post in a vibrant coastal town.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience working as a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist.
• Proficiency in assessing and managing dysphagia.
• Ability to independently handle a specialist caseload.
• Excellent communication skills along with teamwork experience.
• Previous experience in NHS Speech and Language Therapy.
• Experience within specialist Head and Neck services.
• Proficiency in delivering advanced dysphagia interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with Head and Neck conditions.
• Deliver specialist Speech and Language Therapy interventions.
• Assess communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and review patient treatment plans.
• Provide specialist advice to patients, carers, and healthcare colleagues.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records and reports.
• Support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
