Job summary

S.N.G Healthcare Group Ltd in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist neuro rehabilitation service, supporting adults with acquired brain injuries, stroke, spinal injuries and progressive neurological conditions.

You must hold a recognized Speech and Language Therapy qualification and be HCPC registered; eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship is required; the role is full-time with Monday–Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree or qualification in Speech and Language Therapy approved by HCPC.
• Current and unrestricted HCPC registration.
• Experience in a specialist neurological care or neurorehabilitation setting.
• Experience assessing and differentiating communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Experience developing person-centred therapy programmes and care plans.
• Knowledge and experience supporting individuals with complex communication needs.
• Experience supporting swallowing difficulties and modified diets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, proactive and person-centred approach.
• Ability to manage a diverse and demanding caseload.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support adults living with acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, stroke and progressive neurological conditions.
• Develop and implement person-centred therapy programmes and care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care.
• Assess communication and swallowing difficulties and provide differential diagnoses.
