Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 7 Inpatient Speech & Language Therapist in Blackpool. You will assess and treat inpatients with speech and language disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan and deliver individualized care.

The ongoing, full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate, a diverse caseload, and opportunities to develop skills across different settings within the inpatient landscape.

Qualifications

• Must have previous inpatient experience.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Own a current driving licence to facilitate travel between hospital sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic management for inpatients with speech and language disorders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Contribute to patient case conferences and offer specialist advice to the team and carers to ensure excellent patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient interventions and outcomes.
• Participate actively in service development projects and audits to enhance service delivery.
