Job summary

Dee View Court Neurological Care Centre Care Home in Aberdeen is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver person-centred assessments and develop evidence-based treatment programmes for residents with complex neurological needs.

You will manage your own caseload, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and review goals, and contribute to service development. Ongoing training and professional development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Strong clinical reasoning and understanding of OT assessments and interventions.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and relevant legislation.
• Experience in neurorehabilitation or complex care is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred assessments and develop evidence-based treatment programmes for residents with complex neurological needs.
• Manage your own caseload and work with the multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and review care and rehabilitation goals.
• Contribute to ongoing development of the service and provide guidance/supervision to colleagues.
