Job summary

Brook View Neurological Centre in Worcester, West Midlands, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team to support adults with complex neurological conditions and injury. You will promote independence and participate in meaningful daily activities.

Working with the Therapy Lead and wider team, you will assess needs, develop personalised rehabilitation plans, monitor progress and maintain records while liaising with external services to ensure equipment is safe and

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with current status.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an OT role.
• Experience in a neurological setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical and psychological needs and contribute to personalised rehabilitation plans.
• Complete assessments of daily living skills and support care planning.
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate clinical records, and provide reports for case reviews.
• Liaise with equipment and wheelchair services to ensure equipment is suitable and safe.
• Support residents to develop personal, social and leisure skills and work with families/carers.
