Job summary

Elysium Healthcare invites an Occupational Therapist to join Avonfield Neurological Centre in Wellingborough. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering neurological assessments, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions to maximise independence and quality of life.

You’ll support discharge planning and supervise OT staff, with access to ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered and HCPC registration
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation and participation in rehab planning
• Experience using outcome measures and managing caseloads

Responsibilities

• Completing neurological assessments, treatment planning and interventions
• Rehabilitation interventions to improve function and independence with ADLs
• Cognitive assessment/rehabilitation
• Liaising with community colleagues for discharge planning
• Supervising OT support staff and students
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic activities
