Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist for Avonfield Neurological Centre in Wellingborough. You will join a transdisciplinary team, manage a caseload of neurological cases, and contribute to goal‑driven rehabilitation plans to maximise independence and quality of life.

You will be HCPC registered and supported with ongoing training within a network of healthcare professionals, with an emphasis on evidence‑based practice and regular progress reviews.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered is required.
• Experience with neurological conditions and rehabilitation.
• Ability to complete assessments, plan and evaluate outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Completing neurological assessments, treatment planning and interventions.
• Rehabilitation to improve function and independence with ADLs.
• Cognitive assessment/rehabilitation.
• Using therapeutic handling skills.
• Assessing environment and equipment needs including seating.
• Identifying ongoing needs while maximising quality of life.
• Liaising with community colleagues for discharge planning.
• Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
• Supervising OT support staff and students.
• Developing evidence-based therapeutic activities.
