We are experiencing significant growth and seek a self-motivated Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer to support our customers and prospects in the UK. You will act as a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities, gathering requirements, and designing solutions.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer challenges and present network solutions.
• Design and propose data center, routing, campus, and security solutions.
• Perform proof-of-concept deployments and network implementations.
• Create design guidelines and suggest improvements.
• Lead responses to RFPs/RFQs.
• Manage customer feature requests from requirements to deployment.
• Provide feedback to product teams.
• Represent Arista at industry events.
• Stay updated on competitors and industry trends.
• Author technical white papers, blogs, and articles.

Qualifications

• DV clearance or ability to obtain within 12 months; preference for those with existing DV clearance.
• Motivated, proactive, flexible team player.
• Fluent in English.
• Sales-oriented mindset and team collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UK or neighboring countries.
• Technical degree.
• Experience in network design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with routing and switching protocols.
• Recent experience in data center, routing, or campus network architecture.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Deep knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN).
• Knowledge of service provider and campus technologies is a plus.
• Understanding of the competitive landscape.
• Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar role.
• Security deployment experience is a plus.
• Hands-on CLI experience preferred.
• Interest or experience in Netops/Devops tools like Python and Ansible.
• CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent certification.
