Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a T3 Network Engineer for a well-established MSP, handling complex escalations across enterprise environments. The role focuses on connectivity and CPE, with no voice requirements, and involves hands-on Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki/Juniper platforms.

Hybrid working pattern: 3 days per week in Solihull or Wakefield. You will act as senior technical authority, engage with senior stakeholders, and own difficult customer situations, ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Solid T3 network engineering background, MSP environment strongly preferred.
• Cisco routing and switching experience, CCNA level as a baseline (current cert not required).
• Hands-on Fortinet experience, FortiGate and FortiSD-WAN in a managed service environment.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills, you're confident, clear, and calm under pressure.
• Comfortable owning difficult situations with enterprise customers, this role requires resilience and professionalism.
• End-customer background considered for candidates with strong technical depth.

Join a well-established managed service provider with a dedicated platinum support team serving strategic enterprise customers. The organisation is looking for a T3 Network Engineer to handle complex escalations, challenging technical issues, and high-value customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Own T3 escalations across a portfolio of high-value enterprise customers, connectivity and CPE focus, no voice
• Support and manage Cisco routing, switching, and Firepower firewall environments
• Support and manage Fortinet FortiGate and FortiSD-WAN deployments
• Work across secondary technologies including Meraki and Juniper where required

Location & Working Pattern

• Hybrid: 3 days per week in either Solihull or Wakefield office
• Hours: 8:30–5:00 or 9:00–5:30 with 1 hour lunch
• 25 days annual leave + option to buy 5 more
• On-call coming into scope, paid separately at approximately £250/week when introduced
