Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead and develop our Network & Security Consultancy community in a flexible UK hybrid setup. You will oversee a talented team of consultants, solution architects and specialists, shaping workforce plans and executing strategic engagements.

You will partner with sales, delivery, customers and technology partners to ensure high-quality outcomes, manage governance and drive growth across the practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Network & Security consultancy teams.
• Experience managing consultants, architects or specialists.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking and cybersecurity trends.
• Strong commercial awareness with budget or utilization experience.
• Experience supporting major opportunities, bids or strategic engagements.
• Excellent people leadership and recruitment skills.
• Ability to engage with senior customers and partners.
• Collaborative leadership focused on developing people.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop our Network & Security Consultancy practice, setting clear direction and priorities.
• Build, develop and retain a high-performing community of consultants, architects and specialists.
• Shape workforce plans, recruitment, skills development, certifications and succession planning.
• Support major customer opportunities, bids and strategic conversations alongside sales and pre-sales teams.
• Provide senior oversight and guidance across complex or high-risk customer engagements.
• Take responsibility for practice performance, including revenue, margin, utilisation, forecasting and investment.
• Develop consultancy services that respond to customer needs and market trends.
• Build strong relationships with key technology partners and vendors.
• Drive consistent standards across technical governance, architecture and delivery.
• Create a collaborative culture focused on development, technical excellence and customer outcomes.
