Job summary

Context Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Team Lead in Manchester for a hybrid role requiring two days in the office. You will lead a team of network engineers, own design and delivery of the network platform, and align roadmaps with senior stakeholders.

You will drive operational excellence, escalate complex issues, and plan upgrades while maintaining strong vendor relationships and governance across a large-scale environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading network infrastructure teams.
• Strong background in enterprise network engineering and ops.
• Expertise across routing, switching and network technologies listed.
• Experience with major network platforms and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Network Infrastructure Engineers.
• Provide technical leadership across network operations and projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of best practices.
• Act as escalation point for major incidents and complex issues.
• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, enhancements and growth initiatives.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, vendors and partners.
• Ensure change and incident management processes are followed.
• Support capacity planning, resilience, patching and service improvements.
• Contribute to strategic network architecture and roadmaps.
