Bristol Water plc is seeking a Network Quality Assurance Technician to help ensure the integrity of our water network and compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards. You will inspect and report on work by delivery partners across mains, services and reinstatement, support risk assessments and incident reporting, and work with authorities to maintain high network reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience working on water network contracts and a strong understanding of safe working practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and customer-focused approach.
• NRSWA Supervisor, EUSR Water Hygiene and Utility SHEA qualifications.
• Good IT skills and experience with mobile working technology.

Responsabilités

• Inspecting, monitoring and reporting on work completed by our delivery partners.
• Ensuring work meets quality, health and safety, environmental, street works and traffic management standards.
• Identifying workmanship or compliance issues and supporting their resolution.
• Ensuring works comply with NRSWA requirements and permitting requirements.
• Supporting SHEQ incident reporting and risk assessments.
• Carrying out risk assessments and implementing control measures.
• Supporting customer enquiries and complaints to achieve prompt resolutions.
• Undertaking mains isolations for planned programmes and unplanned events.
• Working with local authorities and stakeholders to build relationships.
• Participating in the 24/7 standby rota as part of a multi-skilled team.
