Job summary

Circet NI Energy division is hiring an experienced Network Outage Planner to join our team. You will help plan outages, coordinate with clients and manage access, pole/material deliveries and land-owner exceptions across Northern Ireland.

The role requires IT literacy, strong communication, problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with travel across NI and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Initial outage schedule planning and coordination with clients.
• Manage access officers, poles and material deliveries per outage plan.
• Address land owner exceptions and customer queries promptly.
• Willingness to travel throughout Northern Ireland and work with limited supervision.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Create initial outage schedule detailing required outages per section.
• Propose locations of temporary switches and secure client agreement.
• Direct access officers to align with outage schedule.
• Coordinate pole and material deliveries per outage plan.
• Manage all land owner exceptions and close out customer queries.
• Handle all SFAs if required.

Job description

We are hiring! Circet NIs Energy division are looking for an experienced Network Outage Planner to join our team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Initial outage schedule for each circuit detailing how many outages is required on each section but in keeping with Power customer and CML commitments.
• Compile proposals around locations of temporary switches and agree with the client
• Manage and direct access officers so that agreements are in place for all work sections in keeping with the outage schedule
• Manage and direct the pole and material deliveries in keeping with the outage schedule
• Manage all the land owner exceptions
• Manage and close out all customer queries in a timely manner
• Manage all SFA’s if required

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

• IT literate with MS packages
• Proven track record for delivering results to tight timescales
• Good communication skills verbal & written
• Positive approach to problem solving
• Strong desire to continually improve performance
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Flexibility to travel throughout Northern Ireland
• Full driving licence
