The Role
This is an opportunity for a talented individual to play an important role in delivering a range of statutory network services across the Falkirk area.
You will provide a comprehensive, high-quality service for managing traffic schemes within Falkirk Council. The role also involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders and clients throughout projects.
You will hold an HNC in Civil Engineering (or an equivalent discipline) and possess knowledge of relevant legislation. You should be able to lead the design, procurement, and implementation of schemes such as 20mph speed limits, pavement parking, and others.
You will be enthusiastic, ambitious, and a keen mentor with experience, good organizational and presentation skills, and familiarity with current health and safety regulations. You should be IT literate, have good interpersonal and report-writing skills, and demonstrate professionalism.
You are required to be flexible, innovative, and responsive to public demands and pressures, including direct communication with members of the public and inquiries.
