The Role
This is an opportunity for a talented individual to play an important role in the delivery of a range of statutory network services across the Falkirk area.
You will provide a comprehensive, high-quality service for the management of traffic management schemes within Falkirk Council. The role also includes liaising with internal & external stakeholders & clients throughout projects.
You will hold an HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent discipline) and have knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation. You will be able to lead on the design, procurement, and implementation of relevant schemes, such as 20mph speed limit implementation, pavement parking, and others.
You will be enthusiastic, ambitious, and a keen mentor with experience, good organisational and presentation skills, alongside knowledge of current health & safety regulations. You should be IT literate, possess good interpersonal and report writing skills, and demonstrate overall professionalism.
You are required to be flexible, innovative, and reactive to public demands and pressures, including communicating directly with members & the public inquiries.
