This multi-academy trust has experienced significant growth over the past few years. Due to this expansion, they are seeking to appoint a Cluster Network Manager to join their IT team on a permanent basis. The trust is large, with plans for further growth, making it an exciting time to join and develop your career. You will be based at a secondary school in North Manchester, with responsibilities for three local primary schools, and will be an integral part of the IT team. The team is well-established, led by an IT Director with a positive and proactive approach, working collaboratively across all schools and teams.

Your new role

Reporting to the IT Director, you will oversee all IT infrastructure and services across your cluster, which includes one secondary and three primary schools. You will manage the onsite IT team, consisting of two technicians, and be responsible for hardware, software, bespoke technologies, and IT project delivery. Your role involves responding to IT requests, resolving issues promptly, and managing operational tasks such as monthly reviews, performance management, and staff development. You will also oversee the IT budget and collaborate with third-party vendors for procurement.
