Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Network Logistics Operative to manage large-scale construction logistics across multiple sites in the Midlands. You will be responsible for timely, safe delivery of materials, including move/transfer of reinstatement supplies and use of heavy equipment.

The role requires Class 2/CE HGV qualifications, HIAB and NRSWA operative credentials, plus proven experience in the utility or construction sector.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Driving Licence, Cat C (CE preferred), HGV qualification.
• Experience in utility/construction industry; HIAB qualification and NRSWA operative.
• Extensive experience driving logistics vehicles, especially HGV Grab lorries; familiarity with tachograph rules.

Responsibilities

• Transport reinstatement materials to and from sites and compounds, including delivery of fittings and use of excavation equipment.
• Collaborate with Network Logistics supervisor and Network Construction Operatives; ensure safe removal and disposal of asbestos.
• Ensure excavations are safe and secure, maintain access for domestic/commercial customers, and provide updates during each DMA renewal.
