Job summary

Severn Trent is recruiting a Network Logistics Operative to manage the timely delivery of construction materials and operate HGVs on site. You will transport reinstatement materials, assist in asbestos disposal, and ensure safe excavations while liaising with the Network Logistics supervisor and Construction teams.

You'll hold a Class 2 licence (Cat C), ideally CE, plus HIAB and NRSWA status. Strong driving, customer service, and regulatory compliance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• For this role, you must hold a Class 2 (Cat C) licence and ideally CE.
• HIAB (Grab) qualification and NRSWA operative status are preferred.
• Experience driving HGVs and knowledge of tachograph regulations are required.

Responsibilities

• Transport reinstatement materials to/from site and operate excavation vehicles.
• Collaborate with supervisors and site operatives; manage asbestos disposal safely.
• Ensure safe excavations, maintain access for customers, and support DMA renewals.
