We are looking for a Network Logistics Operative responsible for managing large-scale construction activity across multiple sites.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As our Network Logistics Operative, you’ll ensure the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of construction equipment and materials onsite. This includes handling reinstatement materials, fittings, and operating mechanical excavation equipment and vehicles.
You’ll drive Logistics vehicles, mainly HGV “Grab” lorries, and undertake waste removal, material delivery, and some construction activities like sectioning and service laying to support the Network Construction team.
This role requires a 42-hour work week, Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM, ending at 4:30 PM, with an early finish at 4:00 PM on Fridays.
Key Accountabilities:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Applicants should hold a Class 2 Drivers Licence, preferably a CE Licence, HGV Qualification, and experience driving HGVs or working towards it. Experience in utility/construction industries, HIAB (Grab) qualification, and NRSWA Operative certification are desirable.
You should have a strong track record of driving Logistics vehicles, excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of tachograph and driving regulations to ensure legal compliance.
