Job description

Senior Network Engineer - SC Cleared

Location: London (2 days per week), rest remote

Duration: 6-month initial contract

IR35 Status: Inside

Responsibilities:

1. Triaging system alerts for mid-level issues using analytical problem-solving skills.
2. Collaborating with team members to resolve issues and developing practical, rapid solutions for daily operational problems.
3. Managing and maintaining enterprise data centre application landscapes.
4. Implementing and maintaining virtualized network environments.
5. Administering Cisco, F5, and Palo Alto systems, including security and patch management.
6. Applying a solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, routing, ports, and firewalls.
7. Utilizing Ansible for configuration management and automating repetitive operational workloads.
8. Working independently on assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

1. 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
2. Technical certifications such as Network+, Cisco, or Juniper (up to CCNP level).
