SC Cleared Network Engineer - 6 months+ - £500-600pd Inside IR35 - Remote with occasional travel to London

Looking for an SC Cleared Network Engineer to provide engineering support. It is expected that the engineer will have both DevOps and network engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support Security Gateway FortiGate in the Connectivity account for Non-Prod & Production environments.
• Rebuild this component every 4 weeks using Jenkins.
• Amend Configuration/Code via terraform on an ad hoc basis for various components such as Anti-virus, IPS, WAF, File-Filter, and AWS Terraform provider updates.
• Manage FortiFlex API changes and associated infrastructure including Route 53, S3, Load balancer, Lambda, etc.
• Deploy certificates and manage Vault secrets.

Security Gateway NGINX Management

• Maintain and support this component in the Connectivity account for both Non-Prod & Production environments.
• Rebuild every 4 weeks using Jenkins/packer with latest Amazon Linux 2023 AMI.
• Amend configurations via terraform as needed, including instance type/size, additional TOs, and deployment of new TO client certificates.

Security Gateway Support

• Respond to Protective Monitoring Alerts.
• Support A&T team with connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot NGINX and FortiGate including reviewing logs, SSH access, running packet captures, and managing licenses.

Onboarding / Provisioning

• Add users to Security Enforcing Services AD and AWS Console Groups.
