Job summary

La Fosse in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support and enhance an enterprise network spanning on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining, optimising, and improving network performance, resilience, and security across the business.

You will monitor LAN/WAN, troubleshoot major incidents, design solutions for routing, switching, and firewalling, and work with IT teams on projects and BAU delivery.

Qualifications

• Enterprise network experience with Cisco routing and switching
• Nexus and enterprise-grade infrastructure experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and optimise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Support and troubleshoot complex network issues, acting as escalation point for major incidents
• Design and implement network solutions across routing, switching, security, and connectivity
• Maintain high availability and resilience across the network estate
• Contribute to RCA and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support network change activity in line with governance and security policies
• Monitor and manage data centre and network environments including LAN, WAN, and wireless
• Collaborate with wider infrastructure and IT teams to support projects and BAU delivery
• Contribute to network documentation and operational best practices
